Glass replacement in Western Sydney
Broken windows, cracked doors and damaged shopfronts — measured, made and refitted with the right safety glass by our own glaziers.
A broken window is a security problem before it is a glass problem. Call us and we will make the opening safe, measure the frame and refit it with glass that meets the Australian standard for that location — usually within the same working day.
We replace glass in timber, aluminium and uPVC frames, sliding doors, hinged doors, louvres, shopfronts and internal partitions. Because the glass is cut in our own Minchinbury workshop, most standard sizes are ready the day you call.
- Broken and cracked window glass, single or double glazed units
- Sliding door and hinged door glass, including toughened panels
- Shopfront and office glass, plus board-up and make-safe
- Fogged or failed double glazing replaced unit for unit
- Obscure, laminated, toughened, low-e and tinted glass
What glass replacement costs in Sydney
Every job is priced on the size of the pane, the type of glass the location requires and how easy the frame is to get to. A small clear pane in a ground-floor timber window is at the cheap end; a large toughened sliding door panel or a shopfront sheet is at the other. We quote before we start and the written quote is the price you pay.
Safety glass, and where it is required
Australian standard AS 1288 sets out where safety glass has to be used — doors and side panels, low windows, bathrooms, stairwells and anything near a floor level change. We install glass that meets AS/NZS 2208, and we will tell you when a pane that was originally annealed has to be upgraded to toughened or laminated.
What happens after you call
We take the details on the phone, give you a price range, and book a time. On site we make the opening safe, measure, and either refit on the spot from stock or return with the cut panel. Old glass and packaging leave with us.

Glass replacement questions
Can you replace just the glass, not the whole window?
Yes — in most cases that is exactly what we do. If the frame is sound, replacing the pane is far cheaper than replacing the window. We will tell you honestly if the frame is beyond saving.
How fast can you get here?
Call before about 2pm on a weekday and we will usually be out the same day to make the opening safe and measure up. Jobs that come in after hours are handled first thing the next business morning.
Do you board up broken windows?
Yes. If the glass cannot be replaced on the spot — an unusual size or a toughened panel — we board or tape the opening so the property is secure until the new glass is ready.
Do you replace double glazed units?
Yes. Failed or fogged insulated glass units are measured and remade to the same thickness and spacer, then swapped into the existing frame.
Do you work with insurance claims?
We provide an itemised written quote and photos you can send to your insurer, and we invoice after the work is approved. See our guide to claiming broken glass on insurance.
