Semi-frameless shower screens
Most of the frameless look, a lower price and more tolerance for an out-of-square wall — 6mm toughened glass, measured on site and fitted by our own team.
A semi-frameless screen puts a slim aluminium channel where the glass meets the walls and the base, and leaves the door itself unframed. You get a clean, mostly-glass look, and the channel absorbs small irregularities in the walls that a fully frameless screen cannot.
It is the most popular choice for bathroom updates where the tiling is staying, and for anyone who wants the frameless look without the frameless price.

Semi-frameless or frameless?
If your walls are straight and the bathroom is new, frameless is the cleaner result. If the room is a few years old, the tiling is staying, or the budget matters, semi-frameless gives you most of the look for less. The channel is slim and finished to match the hardware, so it reads as a detail rather than a frame.
How it goes in
We measure the opening after any tiling work, make the panels in our workshop and return to install. The fixed panel sits in its channel, the door hangs on hinges fixed to the glass or the wall, and every joint is sealed. Allow about a week from measure to install, and 24 hours for the silicone to cure.
What affects the price
The size of the opening, the number of panels and the hardware finish. Semi-frameless sits between framed and frameless on price. You get a fixed written quote after the measure.

What is the difference between semi-frameless and frameless?
Semi-frameless uses a slim channel where the glass meets the walls and base; frameless uses clamps and hinges only. Semi-frameless uses 6mm glass, frameless uses 10mm.
Is semi-frameless cheaper than frameless?
Usually, yes — thinner glass and simpler hardware. The exact difference depends on the size of the opening and the finish you choose.
Can I get matte black channel and hardware?
Yes. Channel and hardware come in chrome, matte black, brushed nickel and gold.
Will it work in an older bathroom?
Often better than frameless, because the channel takes up small differences in the walls. If the opening is badly out of square we may recommend a fully framed screen instead.
